•May 12, 2010 • Leave a CommentHey everyone….it’s been awhile since my last post and I wish I could tell you some great story about me backpacking across the country and abroad in search of my inner self and the true meaning of life…blah blah blah. Nope, just reality. Summer time is on its way and 2 kids in school means no time for me, but luckily I got a call from Robbin Favaloro of Rose and Womble Realty to do a Virtual Tour of a new listing of hers’ in Virginia Beach. It’s a great 3 story home and very close to the beach. Check out the tour below. Take Care everyone and I’ll be back soon with some now posts…..

New Portrait Session: Kristie & London
•April 25, 2010 • Leave a CommentHad just a great day yesterday shooting Krisite and her handsome son London in Virginia Beach. London was a great sport and very photogenic. Location was a field near Oceana Naval Air Station that I thought would look great for spring portraits. The weather worked well for us, had some bright sun but for the most part great diffused light for the photos. I’d like to thank Kristie and London for giving me the opportunity to photograph them.

Creative Learning Center
•April 9, 2010 • Leave a CommentHave you ever wanted to learn photography? Maybe you already shoot but wanted some new creative direction? And how do they make those iPhone apps anyway?
If any of the following questions go through your brain on a daily basis then your in luck. The topic of today’s post is the new Creative Learning website by Chase Jarvis. Chase has gotten together with Craig Swanson to start the web’s first live creative learning website. Creative Learning Center is a new online learning center for creatives who want to further their knowledge or explore new avenues. The best thing about the new show is……wait……it’s FREE!!! Now their is a little catch so keep reading. The unique way that this content is distributed is that, unlike other online leaning centers such as Kelby Training, which is a great website with tons of info and the author is a subscriber, the creative learning site is LIVE. You decide that hey on Monday night I want to watch Digital Photography for Beginners at 7pm. You can sign up for the class for free and watch the webinar. Webniar for those new is a seminar held on the web by going to a specific webpage. Now here comes the green, told you there was a catch. If you like the class you are attending and would like to have a copy for future reference you can download the course for a fee, which have not been established yet. This helps cover the cost of production and such. No bad at all considering you can preview the course for free….trying asking for that at your local college!!!
One of the most exciting aspects of this new platform is the talent that will be hosting the class. Chase has gone out and sought professionals in each topic to lecture. Names like Zach Arias, Scott Bourne, Vincent Laforte, and many others. Now I am not trying to commercialize this too much, since I just watched my first webinar last night, I am though very excited to see where this goes and how the audience will interact with the lectures. Right now you can ask questions live via a twitter feed. Check out the vid…and check into some online learning goodness.
